Conway County
The county was formed on October 20, 1825, from a portion of Pulaski County
Named for Henry Wharton Conway, who was the territorial delegate to the U.S. Congress.

The county seat is Morrilton

Conway County is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. It is home to Petit Jean Mountain and Petit Jean State Park. In the park is located one of the highest waterfalls in the South, Cedar Falls. Other points of interest are the Arkansas River and Lake Overcup.
