County Information
Otsego County was founded April 1, 1840. It was formed from Mackinac County, originally called Okkuddo County until it became Otsego on March 8, 1843. It was organized the 12th of March 1875. The county seat is Gaylord.
Cities and Villages of Otsego County: City of Gaylord and Village of Vanderbilt.
Unincorporated Communities: Arbutus Beach,
Elmira, Eyedylwild Beach,
Johnnesburg, Oak Grove
Otsego Lake, Sparr, Vienna Corners, (Partial) Wah Wah Soo and Waters.
Townships: Bagley, Charlton, Chester, Corwith, Dover, Elmira, Hayes, Livingston and Otsego Lake.
