Pick up your copy of the book starting on January 13, while supplies last. Thanks to the Lafayette Public Library Foundation for sponsoring the community read. LRT-themed programs are planned from January 13 to March 29.
What should we call our electronic resources? Currently, we have Fantastic Stuff for Our Patrons as a place where users can access eBooks and downloadable audiobooks, digital access to newspapers, children's and school resources, databases, and so much more. Help us to pick out a name for this trove of information by taking our survey here. Voting is open through February 28th!
The South Regional Library is undergoing a renovation project which includes architectural, mechanical, and electrical system replacements and upgrades. Various phases of the project will interrupt services to different areas of the building at different times. The project is estimated to occur from November 2024 - July 2025.
All Louisiana library systems are now required by law to implement options for restricted juvenile library card access.

Google Docs is an online word processor similar to Microsoft Word. You can write documents, make tables, and create other kinds of documents using Google Docs. We will go over the basics in this class including: text entry, text formatting, how to print a document, how to copy and paste in Google Docs, and how to save and share files with others.
Typing is required to participate in this class. Computers are provided for this class. Please bring your Google Account username and password so that you can participate! If you don't have a Google Account, register for one before class starts at www.google.com.
